Track and Field ISAC OCT16

On October the 16th, 2021 the BIBA Track and Field team participated in the ISAC track and field tournament.
The High school race of 5km only consisted of 2 participants, unfortunately, many of the members were unable to attend due to personal reasons. However, this did not affect the motivation and truly amazing performances our high school team displayed. Just like the middle school race, everyone cheered from the top of their lungs wishing them the best of luck in the 5km ahead. the High school race was arguably more intense than middle school, due to the 2km more they had to run, the spectators waited a long and stressful 10-20 minutes until anyone truly appeared once again. Once you see the participants running as fast as they can, everyone would cheer into excitement as one after the other passes the finish line.
“ISB has their own training field, but so do we, and we ought to utilize it until we exceed the speed of every other team.”
The Track and Field race was truly a sight to see with all the different teams preparing and giving each other motivational speeches, it was hard not to be proud that BIBA as well participated in such a rigorous and intense event. We encourage all of you to join the Track and Field team to proudly represent BIBA, and we hope next time there will be more of us out there competing to get the fastest time of all.
