The Ping-Pong Club
This week we interviewed one of the founders of the newly-found ping-pong club, Evan Hwang, to introduce this brilliant new club.

General Information
The Ping Pong Club is a student-led club that meets regularly after school.” Evan said. “Through playing games together, we improve our ping pong skills, develop social skills, enhance our physical abilities, and have fun. We meet regularly every Monday and Tuesday. Currently, 10 students are present in the club.”
Weekly ping-pong training
This club was created to provide the service of hosting free ping-pong training sessions for those who are passionate.
“Before creating this club, there wasn’t a way people who enjoy playing ping pong could meet and play with another, so we created this club to provide an opportunity for students who enjoy playing ping pong to come together to have fun and improve their skills.” Evan recalled.

“All people can benefit from this club, regardless of their past experiences with playing ping pong and their skills. Our members include beginners to highly-skilled amateurs. Even if people aren’t that good, they can still have fun and improve their techniques.”
It seems like the ping-pong club is also working extremely hard to prepare for upcoming table tennis competitions.
“We are planning to attend ACAMIS tournaments in the future. This will be a great opportunity for us to test ourselves and experience playing at higher levels. We might also look at running in-school tournaments and games as well.”
