Meet the BIBA Communique Team
About Us
The BIBA Communique is established in 2020 and is a student- led newspaper club and magazine club founded by Stephanie Gao, Sophie Shi and Jorean He. Here we write and publish about things including recent notices, featured books, music and movies, global issues and campus activities. We will publish every 2 weeks both digitally and physically. A physical copy will be posted on the bulletin boards. Our aim is to spread awareness and to make our school life more interesting.

The Main Founder of this club, it was originally her idea to start this club back in 2020, but she left our school and went to the United Kingdom for study
Jorean He
I am one of the leaders of this club and I’m in charge of the photography and media section in this club, one of my favorite thing to do is take amazing photos, and that is why I go to after school events and outside of school events to collect information for our new to be established. I’m also served as class captain year 2021-2022
Writers and Editors
The writers in our club are Lynnette Liu, Jill Bai, Yolanda Li, Cathy Liang, Lucy Man, Tina Liang, Lucy Choi, Kelly Zhou, and Sophie Shi, and the editors are Susanna Zhu, Sarah Mao, Jorean He, and Sophie Shi, the writers gets idea from the media group or based on their own thoughts, then they jot down important features and turn them to the editors, they double check the articles and give advice about grammar mistakes or what they could improve on from a perspective as a reader, finally we publish them and to the articles you are reading now.
Our Designers
In the design group we have Bianca Chen, Lucy Choi, Sissi Huang, Winnie Zhang and Jill Bai, they are all responsible for different elements of our published News, for example designing the format of our published issue, and adding unique and interesting things to either our writing department or the new content or our page design.

Multi-Media and Photography
In the Media and Photography department, we have Carrie Xiong and Jorean He, they are the ones who links with the other clubs and inquire about featured events and sports events with the school that is happening currently, they then take photos and or record video footages that can be used for writing
