Meet the BIBA Press Team
The BIBA Press is BIBA’s first-ever student-run online magazine & news site after digitalizing the school newspaper. Led by Anna, Edward, River, Tommy, Jorean, and Sophie the BIBA Press Team is dedicated to reporting on school events and featuring the work and achievements of BIBA students as well as serving as a useful multi-use platform for MSHS students and staff.
Edward Oh — Editor
Edward is a senior at BIBA. He’s been with BIBA Press since its founding. His hobbies are playing the violin, reading magazines, and taking walks.
River Li — Sports Editor
River is in 12th grade and has been at BIBA for most of his life. He loves tailored suits and having literary discussions with his English A classmates.
Anna Wang — Lit. Journal Editor
Anna is a senior at BIBA. She is talented all around— music, poetry, literature, you name it! Her favorite pastime is playing the guitar in the Heart of Gold band.
Tommy Tao — Arts
Tommy is in 12th grade at BIBA. He can easily be identified with his signature three-piece-uniform with a vest. His hobbies are frisbee, piano, and speaking French.
Sophie Shi — BIBA Communique
Sophie is in Grade 9. Quoted as an “overachiever” by Mr. Fellows, her interests are in volleyball and the sciences. She works for both the BIBA Press and with Jorean on the Communique.
Jorean He—BIBA Communique
As BIBA’s resident photographer, Jorean is present whenever there’s a school event or performance. He loves photography and works in both the Press and the Communique.
